Our employees are trained to be safety conscious: wearing appropriate clothing, reflective safety vests, hard hats, steel toe safety boots, and safety glasses; certified to work on the railroad sites by passing the “Contractor Orientation” exam for both the Union Pacific and BNSF railroads; pre-employment physical as well as random drug and alcohol screening; work is in compliance with the Federal Railroad Administration’s (FRA) railroad workplace safety requirements. Our safety program has been written with the special needs of the railroad in mind.
